What are macros in VIZ Designer?

Macros are a linkage of multiple single commands. These linkages/the macro can then be triggered by a single button press.

What are macros used for?

With macros, single commands of your HomeKit devices can be linked to customized one touch scenes. The list of single commands and pauses stored in a macro are then automatically executed according to the order of the command entries. The commands are executed one after the other (not simultaneously).

For example, you can create the macro „Movie night“ to start the following commands

• the light is dimmed
• The shutters are lowered
• The television is switched on

Macros are created and administrated in the Macro Editor, which can be opened in the settings menu of the menu bar.
